Tracks in the UK cost £4.00 each on CD including P&P and can be bought via PayPal.

Past Masters proudly present an album of timeless rock & roll songs, all of which feature in their live show for which they are acclaimed nationwide. These were recorded as straight 'takes' in the studio to preserve the feel of this great LIVE ACT, a rare commodity in 2001 with all the hi tech around. Although each of these guys have worked in bands for most of their professional lives, they have only been a unit since the beginning of 2000, the present line up being active from June 2001, but it is quite evident from the outset of their show that there is a class act on stage in front of you. It is little wonder that they swept the board clean in South Yorkshire winning the Mercury Newspaper's Best Band Award for 2000/2001 and into 2002 still reign supreme, as everywhere they appear seems to thrive.

In July last year at the Dial House Club in Sheffield and at the Manor Golf Club Kearsley in December,  Past Masters presented a show featuring former Shadows bassist Brian 'Licorice' Locking. They called the show A LIFE IN THE SHADOWS and featured all the hits that Brian played on with Cliff & The Shadows as well as the stuff he was involved with when playing behind Marty Wilde and the great Eddie Cochran, with Brian Bennett (drums) and Big Jim Sullivan (guitar) collectively known as the Wildcats.   During 2002 this show is scheduled to visit Europe and may possibly reach Canada if things fall into place, as well as the U.K. gigs that are booked for late spring/early summer.

Past Masters consist of Mick Batty on sax and numerous wind instruments with Jock Lightbody on vocals. David Eyre now occupies the drum stool with Malc Towndrow, Derek Brown and Dave Robinson playing rhythm, bass and lead respectively. Vocal harmonies are provided by all and these guys play rock & roll music at it's very best !

Half of these tracks, the first ten, were recorded  by the band in Dave's studio and were mostly live single takes !   Tracks 11 through 20 were recorded by Dave with help from other members of the band at differing sessions, some being done solely by himself, with the use of sequencing toys.

BACKING TRACKS FOR BASS PLAYERS , RHYTHM GUITARISTS & DRUMMERS  interested ? . . . . . . . READ ON

These tracks are from sessions recorded in the studio during the making of our three new albums that will be released  over the next few weeks. We thought it would be a good idea to allow the backing tracks to be made available to the musicians who up until now have had no opportunity to rehearse alone,  i.e. BASS PLAYERS, RHYTHM GUITARISTS and DRUMMERS, as there have been no tracks for them . There will be a series of three to begin with, ten tracks on each, with the full versions also for reference, making a total of twenty tracks. Each C.D. will be dedicated to the one instrument i.e. BASS, RHYTHM or DRUMS. They will be priced at £10.00 each. It is intended that demo's will appear on the Shadow Music site for approval in Mp3 versions.
